This place doesn't look like much from the outside. It's nondescript and easy to miss. Please, find your way here. We were so happy. My wife ordered pupusas, which are corn tortillas stuffed with various foods (pork, cheese, spinach, etc.. ). They're delicious. I ordered the tres amigos, which was Pollo Asado, Carne Asada, and Shrimp. Perfectly seasoned, cooked nicely. Fresh salsa with good chips. The staff was so friendly and kind. We'll absolutely be back.

I haven't physically been to the reataurant but i doordash their food all the time. They always have amazing, delicious, quality food. Always hot. These are some real pupusas. 😋

Pretty sure I came home with food poisoning. Should have never walked in the door that was blocked open as was the kitchen door. Curb appeal...sandwiched between sketchy tattoo parlor and sketchier pizzeria..zero! Black beans should have been served in a cup as they were pureed more than a smoothie and absolutely no seasoning. Ordered tamales..seriously only cornbread, not even masa! Large party???..forget it, only 4 person booths.

Service is incredibly slow. I waited 45 minutes to get one plate. I finally had to ask to put it into a to-go box once it was ready since my lunch break was nearing it's end. I've tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt two different times. All three times I ended up having to ask for my meal in a to-go box after the 35+ minute wait. If you are patient or if time is no concern to you, this place has fantastic food once it finally arrives. They have the best carne asada I've had in the NW. I would come back again if the food came a little quicker. Unfortunately, I don't have that kind of time, so I won't be back.

Delicious! My brother invited me to mouthwatering pupusas and pechuga con crema on my first day in Washington saying Pulgarcito was his favorite place. I can easily see this becoming mine!XD

Good pupusas, fried fish. Real food from El Salvador. If you don't know the delicious hot drink called atol made with corn, you need go and ask for. I love it.

I am half Mexican and half salvadorean and originally from California where you know the zalvadorean and Mexican food be poppin and we have become regular customers since the new owners took over because we love it so much. The owners are down to earth, so nice, and give you way more portions than the previous owners. Don't be fooled go check them out and if there are any issues let them know they worked with us because we have an infant and i breastfeed and they were wonderful about it.

Probably the best papusas I’ve had in the PNW. I had the pork, beans, & cheese as well as the ‘loroco’ which is a flower mixed in with the cheese. Ingredients were high quality and the mix with the pickled slaw and delicious salsas made a memorable meal.The hibiscus drink and the side of very homemade beans and rice were much better than the norm. Service was family friendly and ambiance humble. Recommended!

Food was delicious, I ordered the especial de la casa" Molcajete." And 2 pupusas! Authentic Salvadorian cuisine.

This place is amazing! The pupousas are almost as good as my mother in laws. The staff is always nice and very helpful. It's a small tucked away place but it's an amazing place to take anyone.

Giving this place a generous 4 stars. I wanted to love it, but didn’t go away in love with the Pupusas, which seemed to be their main attraction. I liked the rice and beans and Fried Yuca, it’s always good to have great sides.Definitely worth trying out if you’re in the area.

Authentic salvadorian/Mexican food. Although it could do with a revamp. I don't think it needs it. The quesadilla type things were different and real good.

I can’t rave enough about the food here. The meals are always made to perfection. My go to meals are the molcajete and the pollo encebollado. Wonderfully made with great portions. I always leave feeling full as can be. The staff greet you warmly and allow you to choose where you feel most comfortable sitting. If there is a game or event going on (primarily soccer), you will catch it on the screen there. The only reason why I can’t give it a full five stars is because once you are given your glass of water, they forget about you. If you run out, better hope you don’t choke. You have to continually ask them for water. Not sure why that is but if that’s the only con, I’ll take it. TL;DR - Amazing food, only get one glass of H2O for your meal

I love this place, they have awesome Salvadorian food. The food tastes like it's made by an elder Salvadorian lady. The prices are decent. The only issue I have with this place is the parking.

Oh my!!! We are so lucky in Lakewood to have this small restaurant with SOOO DELICIOUS PUPUSAS! Original, good size, decent salsa. Oh yeah!

Worst customer service. Decent food. I ordered from their restaurant about a week ago using door dash. When i made the order, i saw that my payment went through and showed up on my bank statement online. I get a call from the driver saying that the restaurant hasn’t been payed yet and i need to give them a call. Well i do and some young lady answers. I explained to her that i don’t know what the issue is since i saw online that my payment went through. She like a child just keeps cutting me off as I’m explaining this to her. I just say you know what, forget about the order, I’ll make a review and hang up. I just can’t argue with a child minded person. No one has time for that. Specially for a damn pupusa. Anyway, she was horrible and hopefully she can learn some sort of proper customer service. All the best to them.

Restaurant is in a shopping center that is easy to pass by. Waitress was very good, she was patient with us. Lol. Food was good and I was able to enjoy something different than what I usually eat.
